Murgicraft was launched on 7th December, 2021 as a Minecraft SMP among our friends. We started off with three main players, and by the end of the first season 7 players had started actively playing.

From season 2, Murgicraft would become a one of a kind Minecraft server - with 9 active players and an endfight that would leave a memory behind that most would not forget. It marked the strong bonding formed amongst the community and we would move onto complete 3 more seasons, with season 4 being beloved by many. However, all good things would come to an end as dwindling interest due to study pressure mounting on all of us and repetition of the same thing again and again. Chapter 1 of Murgicraft would conclude on late 2022.

After 1.5 years of inactivity, Murgicraft would spark back into life as online classes would occur due to a certain incident, giving us time to plan for its revival. Server development began on April, and was ready by June 05th; where Chapter 2 of Murgicraft was opened.

Season 1 was concluded quite early, and brought back interest into Murgicraft. Despite it having the largest peak player count (37 players at one given moment, and over 2 months of player time!), many mechanisms were flawed. Hence the endfight was quickly concluded on the 9th of August, 2024.

Season 2 began on 14th July, 2024. Despite reaching a max player count of 19, and having a slightly lower playtime, player retention was EPIC. Most players showed interest into the server, which featured Devon's True Survival, Incendium, Terralith, and other game changing datapacks, making it quite a unique season. A large mosque was built by our OG admin Uelq and our beloved Simraat. However, again due to study pressure and school, we were unable to conclude the endfight despite it being a great season. We would soon hold it either way after offering a prize of a total 2000 ROBUX, and would take place on 13th of October, 2024. In conclusion, the fight was intense, and due to a bug with terralith, the ender dragon couldn't be spawned. A total 2 hours had been elapsed and all teams were basically trading blows with each other. Due to this, we decided to archive this season and resume the endfight during December, along with holding the KOTH fight as well. This season is noted to have the most amount of grind put into in the history of Murgicraft.
